Position Summary

Responsible for the day to day functioning of direct child welfare (foster care, adoption and/or licensing) workers. Provide clinical supervision and performance support.

 

 

Annual Salary Range: $49,840.00-$55,840.00

 

$3,750.00 signing bonus- paid out in three increments over an 18-month period with the first increment paid on the first full paycheck following employment start date given you have 3 years previous experience in Foster Care

$7,500.00 signing bonus- paid out in three increments over an 18-month period with the first increment paid on the first full paycheck following employment start date given you have 1 year previous experience as a Child Welfare (Foster Care) Supervisor and are CWTI trained and certified.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides direct clinical supervision to direct staff weekly
  • Reviews reports for grammar as well as content in compliance with rules and policies
  • Attends court hearings and testify in court as needed
  • Facilitates team meetings to deliver essential information to staff
  • Assists with transporting clients as needed
  • Coordinates service and advocate for services for families with Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Court
  • Compiles data to report on contractual requirements at least quarterly
  • Drives for Agency business
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to successfully manage conflict between clients as well as staff
  • Ability to read and interpret policy and procedures
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize many time sensitive tasks
  • Ability to support and promote a positive work place culture
  • Must be able to meet requirements of all contracts, licensing regulations and State/Federal oversight

 

Recommended Employment Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor Degree through an accredited college/university and three years of experience in a child welfare agency, a child caring institution or in an agency performing a child welfare function is required.
  • A Master Degree through an accredited college/university and three years of experience in a child welfare agency, a child caring institution or in an agency performing a child welfare function is preferred.

Experience:

  • Three years of experience in a child welfare agency, a child caring institution or in an agency performing a child welfare function is required with a Bachelor degree
  • Three years of experience in a child welfare agency, a child caring institution or in an agency performing a child welfare function is preferred with a Master degree

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • CWTI Training is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does have supervisory responsibilities.
