Position Summary

The Program Assistant provides overall administrative support to the Families Together Building Solutions (FTBS) program.

 

Hourly Wage: $15.00 - $17.39

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compiles FTBS statistical information.
  • Types referrals, letters, reports, case notes, grants, dictation, etc.
  • Completes data entry for Agency database.
  • Assists with office management functions, including back-up of Agency database, orders supplies and other materials required by programs.
  • Transmits electronic data.
  • Receives program phone calls and handles or routes them as needed.
  • Creates new files, typing and mailings.
  • Other duties as assigned by program supervisors.

  • Ability to have a non-judgmental positive attitude toward families in crisis.
  • Ability to communicate written and verbally.
  • Ability to work in partnership with other team members and/or service providers.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and meet contractual deadlines.
  • Knowledge of computer skills and Microsoft Office programs.

Recommended Employment Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a High School diploma/GED is preferred.

 

Experience:

A minimum of one year of clerical experience is required.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

none required.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
